AWS Architect – 10+ Years.
Description
- Minimum 8 years strong experience in design and delivery of medium enterprise applications. At-least 4 years of Solution architecture experience required.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in either JavaScript/NodeJS/Java.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and architecture RDBMS database. ETL experience is nice to have.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services like S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, VPC, SNS, SQS.
- Understanding of NOSQL database and its use-cases.
- Excellent understanding of typical multi-tier architectures: web servers (Apache, nginx, IIS), caching, application servers, & load balancers.
- Solid grasp of design patterns with ability to translate design to low level code. Lead and support the solutioning of cloud native solutions.
- Hands on with REST based API development experience with Node.js/JAVA using middleware’s like Express or Koa.
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as Angular/React along with CSS3 would be desirable.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests is a plus.
- Hands on with code versioning tools – Git.
- Understanding and experience with CI/CD and SRE practices is a plus
- Ability and comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up mode.
- Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
- Has workshops with the stakeholders to capture strategic, tactical, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Drives the technical design of the solution components that respond to the above requirements, optimized for integration with AWS native services.
- Coordinates with highly skilled Product teams in ensuring a quality translation to detailed design and implementation activities.
- Audits and delivers compliance reports upon Product Release, that guarantee that the delivered Product is in accordance with the architectural diagram designs.
- Participates to the review sessions with the Product Teams, proposes Product improvements and embeds that into evolutionary architecture.
